About the Artifacts tool
Artifacts has four sections. Force Artifact and Crown Artifact each give you a five-slot lineup and add up its total stats. Calculator works out the XP and shards between two points. Artifacts lists all 38 in the data: 8 Blue, 10 Purple and 20 Orange.
Orange artifacts use stars and ranks, 16 stages in all, for a total of 1,700 shards. Higher stars need higher levels: 10 for 2 stars, 20 for 3, 30 for 4, 40 for 5 and 50 for 6. The tool will not let you pick a stage that your artifact level does not allow. Reaching level 50 takes 4,523,710 XP from level 1. Blue tops out at 540 shards and level 30, and Purple at 1,000 shards and level 40.
Each artifact's preview shows its current stats, the next upgrade and the XP or shards to the next stops. Force presets fill the lineup at max level and star. Radiant Scale, Evernight and Ice Crown have no skill in the data, and their level 50 limit is an assumption.
How to use it
- Open Force Artifact or Crown Artifact and add artifacts to the five slots, or load a preset.
- Set each artifact's level, then its star and rank.
- Read the overall stats and the XP and shards to the next stops.
- Use Calculator for a quick total between any two levels and stages.
Frequently asked questions
- How many shards does an Orange artifact need in War and Order?
- 1,700 shards from nothing to 6 stars, spread over 16 stages. Reaching 5 stars with no ranks takes 1,000, and the remaining 700 covers the four ranks at 5 stars and the sixth star.
- What level does an artifact need for each star?
- Level 1 for 1 star, then 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 for stars 2 to 6. We assume ranks have no level requirement beyond that of their star.
- Why does the Tables page show 1,699 shards?
- It lists the three steps to the fourth star as 93 each, which makes 279, while the star's listed total is 280. The Artifacts tool makes the last step 94, so its total is 1,700.
