The short answer
A full War and Order Beast talent tree costs 267,705 talent points. It has 19 talents of 15 levels each, and the total is the same for Dragon, Panda, Pegasus and Phoenix. Passive skills are a separate bill: one skill from level 1 to 30 takes 430,450 XP, or 8,609 scrolls at 50 XP each. Filling all four slots at level 30 takes 34,436 scrolls.
Both costs are heavily weighted towards the end. The last four talents take 57.5% of the talent points, and the last five skill levels take 61.7% of the XP. These figures come from WaoHive's data tables and have not been checked in the game.
Where the talent points go
Talents sit in rows A to M. Beast Showdown in row A is open from the start, and the data asks for Beast level 12 on everything after it. Troops Command is the first big gate, because it needs every talent above it at or near maximum. Its direct list lets Troops Converted Attack and Troops Converted HP stop at 12, but it also needs Strength Combo at 15, and Strength Combo above 12 needs those two at 15. So all 113,705 points of rows A to J come first.
Beast Coercion and Beast Mark need Troops Command at 5. Beast's Rage needs Troops Command, Coercion and Mark at 8 each, which puts its first level at 150,365 points in total.
| Stage | Points | Share of tree |
|---|---|---|
| Rows A to J (15 talents) | 113,705 | 42.5% |
| Troops Command | 28,000 | 10.5% |
| Beast Coercion and Beast Mark | 76,000 | 28.4% |
| Beast's Rage | 50,000 | 18.7% |
What the shared talents give at level 15
Effects vary widely in price. Attack Master works out at 423 points per 1% of Damage, and Beast's Rage at 4,762. They are not the same stat, since Attack Master applies when attacking and the Rage text has no such condition, so the table cannot say which matters more in a fight. Beast Inspiration's text has no percent sign in the data, unlike Beast's Growl with the same value.
| Talent | Points | Level 15 effect |
|---|---|---|
| Beast Inspiration | 4,750 | Infantry and Cavalry HP and Attack +22 |
| Beast's Growl | 5,550 | Archer and Mage HP and Attack +22% |
| Attack Master | 6,345 | Damage when attacking +15% |
| Defense Expert | 6,345 | Damage taken when defending -15% |
| Angel Rebirth | 9,515 | Angel HP and Attack +22% |
| Troops Command | 28,000 | March Size +8,700 (Army Size in the data) |
| Beast Coercion | 38,000 | Enemy Archer and Mage Damage -12% |
| Beast Mark | 38,000 | Against Lords: Archer and Mage Damage +12%, Beast Damage taken -30% |
| Beast's Rage | 50,000 | Troops Damage +10.5% |
What differs between the four beasts
Three talents change with the beast: row G, its fortifying talent in row H, and one in row J. Their point costs do not change, at 13,205, 8,720 and 11,445 points. The row G effect triggers every 15 seconds. The data has no combat results, so it shows what each beast offers and not which one is best.
| Beast | Row G at 15 | Row J at 15 |
|---|---|---|
| Pegasus | Battle Stampede: 2 random Troops get 32% Attack and 19% Defense Penetration for 7s | Spirit Flood: 20% Damage against Infantry and Cavalry |
| Phoenix | Flame Shield: 2 random Troops get a Shield of 13% of current HP, capped at 240M, for 5s | Rebirth Flame: 15% Angel Damage |
| Panda | Tai Chi Matrix: 2 random Troops get 32% Defense and 24% less Damage for 7s | Holy Blessing: 15% less Damage taken |
| Dragon | Dragon Strength: 2 random Troops get 25% Critical Strike Rate and 150% Critical Strike Damage for 7s | Dragon Scale: 7.5% Archer and Mage Damage, 7.5% less Damage taken by Infantry and Cavalry |
Passive skill XP and slots
The four slots open at Beast Lvl 10, 15, 20 and 25, with Beast Evolution 3, 4, 5 and 6. A skill cannot sit in two slots, and every skill uses the same XP table. Skill value rises by a fixed step per level, while XP does not. Force Expansion, which raises the maximum size of a marching army, gains 9.5 percentage points from level 1 to 20 for 57,800 XP, then 5.0 from level 20 to 30 for 372,650 XP. That is about 12 times the XP per point.
So four skills at level 20 take 231,200 XP, about half of what one skill takes to reach 30. Whether the top levels are worth it depends on how you value the stat, but the price difference is clear.
| Skill level | XP from level 1 | Scrolls | Share of level 30 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 1,100 | 22 | 0.3% |
| 10 | 5,200 | 104 | 1.2% |
| 15 | 18,500 | 370 | 4.3% |
| 20 | 57,800 | 1,156 | 13.4% |
| 25 | 164,750 | 3,295 | 38.3% |
| 30 | 430,450 | 8,609 | 100.0% |
Skill values at levels 1, 20 and 30
Sixteen skills are in the data, and many share a value ladder. Templates in the planner load a set for a purpose, such as War, Monsters or Development, and raise the skills to 30. Those names come from the data and are starting points, not tested builds. A four-skill template costs 1,721,800 XP, and the two with an empty slot, PvE and Wounded - Healing, cost 1,291,350.
| Skills | Level 1 | Level 20 | Level 30 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anti-Angel, Anti-Cavalry, Anti-Infantry | 1.6% | 18.7% | 27.7% |
| Resist Magic, Smothered Flare, Steel Skin | 2.0% | 22.9% | 33.9% |
| Attack Expert, Life Source, Quick Heal, Level Up Booster | 1.6% | 16.8% | 24.8% |
| Force Expansion, Recruitment Speed Up | 1.0% | 10.5% | 15.5% |
| March Speed Up | 2.0% | 21.0% | 31.0% |
| Vigor Star | 1.0% | 20.0% | 30.0% |
| Wounded Conversion | 0.8% | 8.4% | 12.4% |
| Wounded Limit | 13.2% | 32.2% | 42.2% |
Planning with the tools
In the Beast Planner, each beast keeps its own talent plan, so you can compare them without losing anything. Set a point limit to see how far a budget goes, and adding a talent can bring in the talents it requires. The dollar figure, about $16,732 for a full tree, assumes 80 points cost $5 and is only a rough guide.
The Totem tool covers a similar long ladder: a Gold Totem takes 302,940 Runestones for its 450 levels, and the tool subtracts what you own. Your plans save in your browser, and nothing is linked to your game account, so enter your current levels yourself.
