War and Order Totem Cost: Runestones and Tattoos to Max

War and Order totem cost by quality: 42,726 Runestones for Blue, 92,880 for Purple and 302,940 for Gold, with Tattoo totals and where costs jump.

Updated: November 2, 2026

The short answer

Maxing a War and Order totem costs 42,726 Runestones for Blue, 92,880 for Purple and 302,940 for Gold. Those figures are for one totem. Gold takes about 3.3 times the stones of Purple for the same 450 total levels.

Skills are paid separately in Tattoos: 3,650 for Blue, 9,130 for Gold, and at least 8,966 for Purple. Purple is a minimum because its last 6 skill levels have no cost in our data. All of these numbers come from the same data as the Totem Calculator and none has been checked in the game.

Most of the cost sits in the last third

Costs rise in steps as you go up, so an even split of levels is nothing like an even split of stones. On a Gold totem, the last 150 total levels take 186,300 stones, 61% of the whole. The first 150 take only 29,370, or 10%. Purple has almost the same shape at 63% and 10%.

Levels here are total levels across all nodes. Level 300 on a three-node totem means every node at 100.

Stones per level on one node

Purple and Gold use the same bands of six node levels. Each node pays the listed price per level, so multiply by six for a band and by three if you raise all nodes together. A Gold node starts at 65 stones per level and ends at 1,450. A Purple node goes from 25 to 440. Over node levels 73 to 120, the Purple price goes from 150 to 390, while Gold goes from 550 to 1,200.

Bonus stats and what they cost

Each node also unlocks two bonuses of its own: at node levels 24 and 48 on Blue, and at 48 and 96 on Purple and Gold. On Purple and Gold, each bonus is worth 0.5 per node. On Blue it is 2 per node. To collect every bonus on all nodes with an even split, you need the total levels below, and that is well short of the maximum. On Gold, the second bonus on all three nodes comes at 35% of the total stones. What lies beyond it is regular stat growth, so you are not missing a milestone if you stop there for a while.

Purple or Gold for the same stones

The tool counts Purple and Gold in the same Superior Runestones, which makes a direct comparison possible. It has presets that pair a Purple level with the Gold level the same stones would buy. A maxed Purple at 92,880 stones roughly matches Gold level 271, at 92,240.

How the stats compare at that point

This table takes Fire at level 450 and Earth at level 271, both with stones split evenly, and adds the bonuses. The data lists the same levels and stats for all three Purple totems, and for all three Gold ones, so these two stand for their groups. Which column is better depends on which stats you value, and these figures cannot settle that for you. They do show that Purple at max has more of the main HP and Attack lines, while Gold at this level adds critical stats that Purple does not list. Earth at 271 has also not reached its second bonus on any node, which starts at total level 288 on an even split.

Tattoos for totem skills

Tattoos have their own table: 10 skill levels on Blue and 30 on Purple and Gold. Two things need care with Purple. Purple skill levels 25 to 30 show a cost of 0 in the data, which we read as missing rather than free, and Purple level 3 at 96 breaks the pattern around it. Treat 8,966 as unconfirmed. The Tables page lists each level for all three colours.

How long the listed sources take

The calculator divides what you are missing by the daily and weekly sources in its data. That comes to about 261 Normal Runestones a day for Blue and about 14.1 Superior Runestones a day for Purple and Gold, the latter from daily rewards, weekly 50/50 Quests and the Oracle Shop. On those rates alone, a maxed Blue takes 164 days, Purple 6,568 days and Gold 21,420 days, or about 18 and 59 years.

Blue is a realistic goal on those sources. The other two figures are far too long to plan on, so they mainly tell you that any other stone income you have matters much more than the listed rewards. The source list may not be complete. For a rough sense of scale in dollars, the tool's average pack prices give about $609, $2,575 and $8,398 in stones. These are estimates, not prices from the game.

To run your own numbers, open the Calculator section of the Totem tool, set your current and target levels, enter what you own, and it shows the stones and Tattoos still missing. Runestones lets you compare three totems side by side, by total level or by each node. Everything saves in your browser with no account.
