War and Order Equipment Materials: What Each Set Needs
War and Order equipment materials by level: 4 per piece at level 20 up to 12 at level 40, full material lists for level 35 and 40 Equipments, and set totals.
Updated: November 2, 2026
The short answer
War and Order equipment materials depend on the item's level. A piece takes 4 materials at level 20, 5 at level 25, 6 at level 30 and 12 at levels 35 and 40. So a full set of six Equipments takes 24, 30, 36 and 72 materials.
The biggest jump comes between 30 and 35, where the count doubles from 36 to 72, because each of the six materials is listed at 2 instead of 1. From 35 to 40 the count does not change at all. The data covers 78 items across six slots and 15 materials. It has not been checked in the game.
| Item level | Items in data | Materials per piece | Full set of six |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20 | 18 | 4 | 24 |
| 25 | 18 | 5 | 30 |
| 30 | 18 | 6 | 36 |
| 35 | 12 | 12 | 72 |
| 40 | 12 | 12 | 72 |
What the data does and does not tell you
Each item has one material list, and Equipments keeps it the same whether you pick Purple or Orange, so these counts apply to both. The data lists no drop rates or farming sources for materials. We cannot say which are easier to find or how long a set takes, so you will not find that here. What the numbers can show is which materials a set leans on, which helps when your stock is limited.
Which materials are in demand
Across the whole catalogue, demand is fairly even: Soul Cloth is highest at 41 and Steel Ingot lowest at 31, out of 558 in total. By level it is less even. Level 20 items lean on Bone and Lumber at 8 each, and Feather appears only once. At level 35, Black Iron leads with 12. If you are saving in advance without a set picked, no single material stands out enough to prioritise on this data alone.
The table counts every item at that level once, not a set you would actually build.
| Material | Lv20 | Lv25 | Lv30 | Lv35 | Lv40 | All |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Agate | 4 | 7 | 8 | 10 | 10 | 39 |
| Fine Leather | 2 | 7 | 9 | 10 | 10 | 38 |

| Feather | 1 | 8 | 7 | 10 | 10 | 36 |
| Palm Leaf | 6 | 6 | 7 | 10 | 10 | 39 |
| Black Iron | 5 | 5 | 6 | 12 | 10 | 38 |
| Rope | 6 | 5 | 7 | 10 | 8 | 36 |
| Thick Hide | 5 | 5 | 6 | 10 | 10 | 36 |
| Lumber | 8 | 7 | 6 | 8 | 8 | 37 |
| Wolf Fang | 2 | 6 | 6 | 8 | 10 | 32 |
| Steel Ingot | 4 | 6 | 7 | 6 | 8 | 31 |

| Magic Spar | 6 | 6 | 8 | 10 | 10 | 40 |
Totals for preset sets
Your actual need depends on the set, and that is where a material can matter. The Archer / Infantry set at level 40 takes 10 Wolf Fang, the most of any single material in a level 40 preset. It uses 72 materials in all. The presets below come from the Equipments tool. Some presets leave slots empty, which is why not all reach the full count. A preset is a starting point from the tool, and these figures do not rank one set above another.
| Preset | Items filled | Materials | Different materials | Largest single need |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mage / Infantry (Lv25) | 6 | 30 | 14 | Palm Leaf 4 |
| Archer / Cavalry (Lv25) | 6 | 30 | 13 | Soul Stone 4 |
| Mage / Infantry (Lv30) | 6 | 36 | 14 | Black Iron 4 |
| Archer / Cavalry (Lv30) | 6 | 36 | 14 | Soul Cloth 5 |
| Mage / Infantry (Lv35) | 6 | 72 | 14 | Black Iron 8 |
| Archer / Cavalry (Lv35) | 6 | 72 | 15 | Bone 8 |
| Mage / Infantry (Lv40) | 6 | 72 | 14 | Bone 8 |
| Archer / Cavalry (Lv40) | 6 | 72 | 15 | Steel Ingot 8 |
| Archer / Infantry (Lv40) | 6 | 72 | 15 | Wolf Fang 10 |
| Recruitment (Lv40) | 5 | 42 | 13 | Feather 6 |
| Monsters (Lv40) | 4 | 36 | 14 | Palm Leaf 5 |
| Building (Lv35) | 3 | 24 | 11 | Magic Spar 5 |
If you make a set at every level
Making one full set at each of the five levels in turn would take 234 materials, and the level 35 and 40 sets are 144 of those, or 62%. Since those two levels cost the same count, the choice between them is not about the number of materials. It comes down to which lists fit your stock and which stats you want. Level 35 and 40 also offer fewer options: two items per slot, against three at each lower level, so a shortage of one material can leave you fewer alternatives there. Compare the two lists below against what you hold before you commit.
Level 40 items and materials
Every level 40 item has six entries of two each, so a repeated material shows a higher number. The For column is the data's own label for the item.

Duplicated materials in the data
27 of the 78 items list the same material more than once. Gold Dragon Armor names Wolf Fang twice, which makes 4 Wolf Fang. Scale Shirt lists Magic Spar three times, and Fine Tunic does the same with Soul Cloth. The tool counts each entry, so it shows the higher amount. We cannot confirm whether these items really need that many or whether the lists contain mistakes, so check any of them in the game first. Our totals follow the tool and count every entry.
Two item names also look misspelt in the data, Resilent Belt and Sacret Belt, so search for those spellings if you cannot find them.
Tracking a set
In Equipments, choose an item and a quality for each slot, or load a preset, and the tool lists every material the set needs with a column per slot. Enter what you own, up to 99 of each, and it shows the difference, marking which slots are covered as it spends your stock from left to right. You can sort materials by name or in game order. Enhancements have a separate cost, paid in Obsidian, and the Tables page has that table level by level. Your setup saves in your browser with no account, and a share link carries it to someone else.
